The Trixter, a master of disguise, broods in his hotel room. (Although I must say, if he can make himself look like that, he really should get out on the town more often.) |

Armina St. John and Jane
T. Kirk In this story of the original Enterprise crew, we are introduced to Armand St. John, a brilliant but unstable scientist who has invented a machine which seemingly allows him to pull counterparts of himself or others from neighboring realities. These counterparts can apparently be either male or female, or of different races entirely. We see female versions of St. John himself, as well as another familiar face. |

The
Wizard and Doctor Occult Here's kind of a fun double entry. The main focus here is on the DC villain known as the Wizard, who impersonates Zatanna to fool a group of mystic heroes. During the ensuing battle, the Wizard also fights Dr. Occult, a veteran arcane investigator who is an amalgam of two "soul mates"--Richard Occult and Rose Psychic. |
Iconic A tongue-in-cheek story of a superhero wedding. Unfortunately, the priestess turns out to be a devotee of the evil Church of Chaos, which puts a crimp in the wedding plans. The hero Iconic is able to quickly dispatch the villainess, but this still leaves the couple without a priestess to perform the ceremony, which can only be performed by a woman. However, with a little help from Gender Bender, Iconic himself is able to fill the role... |

Doctor
Light Here's an unusual story, told by the always-demented Dr. Light. Attempting to account for the time he had gone missing, he explained that he had a good excusehe had died and was sent to hell. While there, he was tormented by the demonic Mr. Biff, who teases him by bringing him back to life in various ways guaranteed to get him quickly and painfully killed, whereupon he would return back to hell for his next torment. In this sequence, we see that at one point he is resurrected again, but this time he possesses the form of the heroine who had also taken the name of Dr. Light. Is wacky, no? |
